Winning Best Leader for SOE Transformation, Erick Thohir reveals success of BUMN

JAKARTA -- As a form of appreciation for industry players who help the strength of the national economy continue to grow, CNBC Indonesia is again holding a prestigious annual awards event, the CNBC Indonesia Awards 2023.
With the theme "Maintaining Optimism Amid Uncertainty", CNBC Indonesia Awards 2023 is proud to award State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Minister Erick Thohir as Best Leader for SOE Transformation.
The award was handed over to both of them directly by Chairman and Founder of CT Corp Chairul Tanjung, Wednesday (13/12) evening.
Erick Thohir said BUMN transformation is impossible without the support of developing the best talent and the ability to adapt to changes with new business models.
In improving the quality of BUMN talent, Erick is encouraging various steps, including improving the BUMN talent pool, providing opportunities for the right leaders in the right positions, increasing the number of women in leadership which has currently reached 20.88% and will continue to be increased until it reaches the target of 25%, Young leadership in BUMN has also achieved the 10% target, as well as building the AKHLAK core value.
"We also encourage business model adaptation in changes such as building ultramicro ecosystems, renewable energy, Islamic finance, and others. Also, continue to encourage the development of the green economy and blue economy in the BUMN Ministry's Blue Map 2024-2034," Erick Thohir explains.
